Whether it is your rehearsal dinner or your reception, Zinc provides a unique venue in which to host any number of special events associated with your wedding. Sunday evenings afford a wonderful opportunity to host a larger private party at Zinc, customized just to your liking. There are appetizer, buffet and sit down meal options for up to 110 people. For smaller groups of up to 60 people, Zinc can also help you to create a memorable party within regular business hours.
Some of the perks of a private event at Zinc:
- No room charge: Depending on the exact date and time, Zinc will set a certain minimum expenditure amount, which is the amount needed to cover the cost of opening and staffing the restaurant when it is usually closed. Assuming you meet this amount, there is no additional charge for the space. The minimum is usually a fraction of the cost of renting a banquet room or other private facility – and with those, you still have to add on the cost of the actual event!
- Custom music to accompany your party: A live band, a dj, satellite radio, or a plug for your ipod are all available. With live music three nights a week and DJ Eldon on Fridays, Zinc can put you in touch with top music acts that fit your sound. There is no charge for the satellite or the ipod hook up.
- Dance floor: That’s right, those dining tables can be moved! Zinc’s hardwood floors transform into a perfect dance floor.
- Transform the space as much - or as little - as you want: You can go with the classic, elegantly stylish Zinc “look”. Or, make the space your own with custom linens, table arrangements, floral arrangements – it is your space for the night! Zinc’s florist of 15 years can work with you on everything from personal bouquets to dramatic table arrangements.
- Personal attention of a locally owned, independent restaurant staff: Kevin Roessler (Managing Partner) and Kaleene Keeley (General Manager) are going to be your contacts. These are the people that will be working with you from the design of your wedding party to the actual execution of the event.
- The Anniversary: Thinking ahead, you already have a great option for where to celebrate your first year!
